The Pennsylvania Rush Thunder is a part of the Total Outreach Program for Soccer (TOPS). This is a national program, for soccer players with special needs. This special needs program was established to promote the game as a unique segment of our club’s community.
Pennsylvania Rush Thunder Soccer’s Vision
To provide and environment where Special Needs players with mental and physical disabilities can participate in soccer training and play games. Our players will experience the joy of learning soccer skills and using them to play games.
The program is FREE.

Saturdays , April 13 to June 8 (no session on May 25)
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
If you need to prepare yourself for playing please come 15 minutes early to get ready to start. Each session will consist of 40 minutes of training, and 20 minutes of playing small sided games with our pool of Rush Thunder Players. Players on the Thunder team range in age from U5 to 21 years old, both boys and girls – all ability levels are welcomed. Pennsylvania Rush Soccer Club Certified Special Need Trainers are on hand to help instruct, play and have fun.
We are looking for those individuals that would like to join our program to be a Buddy. Buddies are boys and girls ages 8+. Buddies will work with our players, taking directions from our trainers, assisting the players with staying on task and offering guidance. Participating as a Buddy can earn you community service hours. There is no charge to be a Buddy.
